Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose (2) from the air cleaner outlet duct adapter.
3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct adapter clamp (1).
4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct adapter from the throttle body.




5. From under the hood, loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner assembly.




6. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct assembly (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct assembly (1).






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner assembly.

Tighten the clamp to 5 N.m (44 lb in).




3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct adapter to the throttle body.
4. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct adapter clamp (1).

Tighten the clamp to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

5. Install the PCV hose (2) to the air cleaner outlet duct adapter.
6. Install the engine cover.
