Exhaust Manifold Studs 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
Intake Manifold Bolts
First Pass in Sequence 5 N.m (44 lb in)
Final Pass in Sequence 10 N.m (89 lb in)
Intake Manifold Wiring Harness Stud 10 N.m (89 lb in)
J 41798 M8 Bolt 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
J 41798 M10 Bolts 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
Cylinder Head - Left Side and Right Side
Install the NEW cylinder head bolts (220, 221).
Tighten the cylinder head bolts.
Tighten the M11 cylinder head bolts (1-10)
First pass in sequence to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Tighten the M11 cylinder head bolts (1-10)
Second pass in sequence to 90 degrees using the J 45059.
Tighten the M11 cylinder head bolts (1-10)
Final pass in sequence to 70 degrees using the J 45059.
Tighten the M8 cylinder head bolts (11-15) to 30 N.m (22 lb ft). Begin with the center bolt (11) and alternating side-to-side, work outward tightening all of the bolts.
