AIR CLEANER OUTLET RESONATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Loosen the air cleaner outlet resonator clamp at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
2. Separate the duct from the MAF/IAT sensor.




3. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator wing nut.




4. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator from the throttle body by pivoting the resonator upward until the hinge clip releases from the lip on the throttle body.




5. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.




2. Align the hinge clip with the lip on the throttle body. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator to the throttle body by pivoting the resonator downward until the stud is through the hole in the resonator.




3. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator wing nut.




4. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator to the MAF/IAT sensor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
