Front Axle Vent Hose Connector Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the engine shield, if equipped.
3. Remove the vent hose (1).
4. Remove the vent hose connector (2).

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the vent hose connector (2). Apply a small amount of sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the threads.

Tighten the vent connector to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

2. Install the vent hose (1).
3. Install the engine shield, if equipped.
4. Lower the vehicle.
