Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the assist handle retaining bolts.
3. Remove the assist handle from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the assist handle to the vehicle

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the assist handle retaining bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
