Door System Diagnosis



DTC B1420

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The power sliding door control module (PSDM) monitors battery voltage through the battery positive voltage circuit.

DTC DESCRIPTOR
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC B1420 Device Voltage

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The voltage supplied to the PSDM is outside the range of 9-15.9 volts.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
- The PSDM detects a power sliding door (PSD) system voltage below 9 volts or above 15.9 volts.
- The above condition is present for at least 5 seconds.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The PSD will not operate.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
The DTC clears when the malfunction is no longer present.
