82. Engine Flywheel Installation

Engine Flywheel Installation





1. Important: Make sure the flywheel is installed correctly. Engine Side is stamped on the flywheel to assist with installation.

Install the flexplate.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the flexplate bolts. Tighten the fasteners following a criss cross pattern.
^ Tighten the flexplate bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) for the first pass.
^ Tighten the flexplate bolts to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) for the second pass.
^ Tighten the flexplate bolts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) for the final pass.
