Folding Top Front Panel Weatherstrip Replacement

FOLDING TOP FRONT PANEL WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front folding panel.

IMPORTANT: Place the front folding panel on a protective cover to prevent scratching.




2. Remove the screws (1) from each upper rear corner of the front folding panel.




3. Remove the screw (1) from the underside of the front folding panel.




4. Remove the weatherstrip from the retainers.Grasp the weatherstrip at the corner, pull the weatherstrip rearward to release it from the retainer.
5. Remove all the adhesive from the front folding panel retainers. Use a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water by volume on a dampened lint free cloth.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the weatherstrip to the retainers.
1. Align the seal with the retainers.
2. Install the weatherstrip to the rear retainer first, then install the sides.
3. Push firmly on the weatherstrip to fully seat the weatherstrip to the front folding panel retainers.Use a trim stick or a suitable tool.




2. Install the screw (1) to the underside of the front folding panel.




3. Install the screws (1) to each upper rear corner of the front folding panel.
4. Install the front folding panel.
5. Cycle the folding top closed.
6. Watertest the vehicle to ensure that the weatherstrip is properly seated and no leaks.
