Fuel Filler Door Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the fuel filler door (1).
2. Remove the fuel filler cap (4) and tether (3).




3. Remove the fuel filler pocket (1). Refer toFuel Filler Pocket Replacement (Fuel Filler Pocket Replacement) .
4. Disconnect the fuel filler door interlock cable from the fuel filler door.




5. Remove the screws (1, 2) from the fuel filler door.
6. Remove the fuel filler door from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the fuel filler door to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fuel filler door screws (1, 2).

Tighten the screws in sequence to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Connect the fuel filler door interlock cable to the fuel filler door.




4. Install the fuel filler pocket (1).




5. Install the fuel filler cap (4) and tether (3).
6. Close the fuel filler door (1).
