Seat Belt Guide Replacement - Front

SEAT BELT GUIDE REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt and remove the seats belt from the seat guide loop.
2. Remove the chrome head restraint trim from the headrest.




3. Remove the 2 nuts (1) securing the seat belt guide to the seat back frame. Discard the nuts.
4. Remove the filler piece (2).
5. Remove the seat belt guide.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the seat belt guide onto the seat back frame studs.
2. Install the filler piece (2).




3. Install the seat belt guide to the seat back frame with 2 new duel-component epoxy lock-nuts (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the seat belt guide nuts to 11 N.m (8 lb ft).

4. Install the chrome head restraint trim to the headrest.
5. Feed the seat belt through the seat guide loop and install the seat belt anchor bolt .
