Carpet Replacement - Rear
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the seats. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) .
4. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door Sill Plate Replacement) .
5. Remove the lock pillar trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar) .
6. Remove the seat back bumpers. Refer to Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion (Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion) .
7. Remove the tire inflator thumb screws (1).
8. Remove the tire inflator from the vehicle.
9. Remove the rear carpet from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear carpet into the vehicle.
2. Install the tire inflator.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the tire inflator thumb screws (1).
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
4. Install the seat back bumpers. Refer to Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion (Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion) .
5. Install the lock pillar trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar) .
6. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door Sill Plate Replacement) .
7. Install the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) .
8. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
9. Install the seats. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) in Seats.
