Hinge Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear (Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear) .
2. Lay the rear compartment lid upside-down on a non-marring surface.
3. Using a grease pencil or suitable marking device, mark the hinge location on the rear compartment lid prior to removal.




4. Remove the rear compartment lid hinge fasteners.
5. Remove the rear compartment lid hinge from the rear compartment lid.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the rear compartment lid hinge with the marks on the rear compartment lid.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear compartment lid hinge fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear (Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear) .
