Bracket Replacement (25 Series)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the differential carrier assembly.
3. Remove the air conditioning compressor-4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines.





4. Remove the nuts and the washers from the bracket.
5. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.
^ Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 Nm (67 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the air conditioning compressor -4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines.
4. Install the differential carrier assembly.
5. Lower the vehicle.
