Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement

INSULATOR REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3, SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5, and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the instrument panel carrier.




3. Remove the insulator clips from the insulator pad.
4. Remove the insulator pad from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the insulator pad to the vehicle.




2. Install the insulator clips to the insulator pad.
3. Install the instrument panel carrier.
4. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3, SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5, and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 in Restraint Systems.
