Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear (AL4 - Bucket)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the second row bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) .
2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat) .
3. Remove the rear seat back finish panel. Refer to Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear) .




4. Separate the J retainer (1) from the bottom edge of the rear seat back cover.
5. Remove the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear) .
6. Remove the seat recliner bolts from the seat cushion.




7. Separate the rear seat back from the rear seat cushion.
8. Separate the rear seat back cover away from the foam pad while separating the hook and loop retainers.




9. Remove the rear seat back cover from the foam pad.




10. Remove the rear seat back pad (2) from the seat back frame (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear seat back pad (2) to the seat back frame (1).




2. Install the rear seat back cover over the foam pad.
3. Install the rear seat back to the rear seat cushion.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





4. Install the recliner bolts.

Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

5. Install the rear seat back foam and cover over the recliner bolts.
6. Install the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear) .




7. Install the J retainer at the bottom edge of the rear seat back cover.
8. Install the rear seat back finish panel. Refer to Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear) .
9. Install the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat) .
10. Install the second row bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) .
