Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side Front

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right) .
3. Remove the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
5. Remove the rear audio controls. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Rear Seat (Pontiac) Audio Control Replacement - Rear Seat (Oldsmobile) in Entertainment.




6. Remove the body side front trim panel retainers using the J 38778 .
7. Remove the body side front trim panel from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the body side front trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the body side front trim panel retainers by aligning the retainers to the holes and pushing in on the retainers to secure them.
3. Install the rear audio controls. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Rear Seat (Pontiac) Audio Control Replacement - Rear Seat (Oldsmobile) in Entertainment.
4. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
5. Install the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right) .
7. Install the rear seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
