Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Replacement

INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the IP cluster trim plate.

IMPORTANT: The ignition switch must be in the OFF position when removing the instrument panel cluster.




2. Remove the screws from the IP cluster to instrument panel.




3. Remove the IP cluster from the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connectors.




2. Position the IP cluster to the instrument panel.




3. Install the screws to instrument panel cluster.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

4. Install the instrument cluster trim plate. When installing a new IP cluster it must be synchronized to the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) module in order to synchronize the new cluster.
