Seat Back Frame Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
3. Remove the head restraint support. Refer to Head Restraint Support Replacement (Head Restraint Support Replacement) .
4. Remove the lumbar assembly. Refer to Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat (Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat) .




5. Remove the four seat recliner mounting bolts securing the seat back frame to the seat back recliner mechanism.
6. Remove the seat back frame.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the seat back frame to the seat back recliner mechanism with four bolts.

Tighten the seat recliner mounting bolts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).

2. Install the lumbar assembly. Refer to Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat (Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat) .
3. Install the head restraint support. Refer to Head Restraint Support Replacement (Head Restraint Support Replacement) .
4. Install the seat back pad and cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
5. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
