Power Folding Top Inoperative
POWER FOLDING TOP INOPERATIVEDIAGNOSTIC AIDS
Complete the check list prior to performing the diagnosis:
- Vehicle is in PARK.
- The ignition is in ACCY or RUN, with the engine OFF.
- Folding top pump motor operating temperature is normal.
- The cargo lid is closed and the release operates properly.
- The brake and transmission shifter interlock (BTSI) is operating properly.
- The power windows operate properly. If either window is not normalized, folding top operation may be inhibited since it is important for the roof door module (RDM) to know their position.
- Inspect for any restricted or leaking hydraulic hoses and repair as necessary.
- Inspect for any loose, misaligned, or damaged components and repair as necessary.
