Folding Top Rear Window Replacement
FOLDING TOP REAR WINDOW REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Cycle the folding top open to 100 mm (4 in).
2. Remove the rear center headliner.
3. Disconnect the heater grid line electrical connectors.
4. Remove the rear window fasteners.
5. Carefully push the window away from the rear roof panel.
6. With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear window from the folding top rear panel.
7. Remove the rear window from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Use Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naptha in order to remove all traces of adhesive residue from the painted surfaces and rear window.
2. Install the rear window seal to the rear roof panel.
3. With the aid of an assistant, install the rear window into the folding top rear panel.
4. Install the rear window fasteners.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 7 N.m (61 lb in).
5. Connect the heater grid line connectors.
6. Install the rear center headliner.
7. Cycle the folding top stowage compartment lid closed.
