Folding Top Rear Panel Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement - Side

Removal Procedure

1. Open the door.
2. Cycle the folding top open.




3. Stop the cycle after the front panel is unlatched from the windshield header.
4. Grasp the weatherstrip at the bottom.




5. Pull the weatherstrip away from the weatherstrip retainer to remove from the vehicle.




6. Remove the weatherstrip retainer fasteners.




7. Remove the weatherstrip retainer from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the weatherstrip retainer to the rear panel.




2. Install the weatherstrip retainer fasteners. Tighten until fully seated but not stripped.




3. Align the weatherstrip to the rear panel.
4. Install the weatherstrip into the weatherstrip retainer.
5. Ensure that the weatherstrip is fully seated into the retainer.
6. Cycle the folding top closed.
7. Verify that the weatherstrip is fully seated to the front panel weatherstrip.
8. Close the door.
