Folding Top Rear Panel Weatherstrip Replacement - Lower

Removal Procedure

1. Cycle the folding top stowage lid open. Leave the folding top latched to the windshield header.




2. Pull the weatherstrip away from the roof rear panel.




3. Remove the weatherstrip from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Use Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naptha in order to remove all traces of adhesive residue from the painted surfaces.
2. Using a heat gun, heat the weatherstrip to 27-38°C (80-100°F) for 5 minutes prior to installation.




3. Align the weatherstrip to the roof rear panel.




4. Push firmly to fully seat the weatherstrip to the rear roof panel.
5. Cycle the folding stop stowage lid closed.
