Headlamp Capsule Replacement

HEADLAMP CAPSULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn OFF the headlamp switch.
2. Remove the radiator grille.




3. Remove the bolts (5) that retain the composite headlamp to the radiator support. Do not move the adjustment screws.

CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the headlamp assembly.
5. Remove the composite headlamp (4) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the headlamp assembly.
2. Install the composite headlamp (4) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the composite headlamp retaining bolts (5) to the radiator support.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

4. Install the radiator grille.
