Seat Back Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
2. Remove the front seat inner adjuster finish cover. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Inner (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Inner) .
3. Remove the front seat outer adjuster finish cover. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Outer (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Outer) .
4. Release the J-retainer (2) on the bottom of the seat back cushion (1) which secures the cushion around the seat adjuster lateral rod (3).




5. Remove the 2 bolts (2) which secure each seat adjuster (3) to the seat back cushion (1).
6. Remove the seat back cushion (1) from the front seat.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the seat back cushion (1) to the front seat. Secure the cushion to each seat adjuster (3) with the 2 mounting bolts (2).

Tighten the front seat back cushion mounting bolts to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).





2. Secure the J-retainer (2) on the bottom of the seat back cushion (1) which secures the cushion around the seat adjuster lateral rod (3).
3. Install the front seat outer adjuster finish cover. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Outer (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Outer) .
4. Install the front seat inner adjuster finish cover. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Inner (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front Inner) .
5. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
