Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the windshield side garnish molding from the vehicle by gently prying loose the plastic retainers which secure the molding.
2. Remove the body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar) or Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar) in Interior Trim.
3. Pull the front side door opening frame garnish molding (2) from the pinch weld flange and remove from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front side door opening frame garnish molding (2) to the pinch weld flange by pressing into place.
2. Install the body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar) or Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar) in Interior Trim.
3. Install the windshield side garnish molding to the vehicle. Ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.
