Carpet Replacement - Front (2 Door)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor (Console Replacement - Rear Floor) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Console Replacement - Front Floor) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
4. Remove the front floor foot rest. Refer to Foot Rest Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the following components from each side of the vehicle:

1. The 4 plastic retainers (2)
2. The front side door sill trim plate (1)





6. Remove the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar) and Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar) .
7. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (2 Door) (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (2 Door))Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (4 Door) (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (4 Door)) in Seats.
8. Remove the 2 plastic retainers (2) that retain each side of the front floor panel carpet (1) to the bulkhead.
9. Remove the front floor panel carpet (1) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front floor panel carpet (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the 2 plastic retainers (2) that retain each side of the front floor panel carpet (1) to the bulkhead.
3. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (2 Door) (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (2 Door))Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (4 Door) (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (4 Door)) in Seats.
4. Install the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar) and Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Hinge Pillar) .




5. Install the front side door sill trim plate (1) to the vehicle. Secure the trim plate with the 4 plastic retainers (2).
6. Install the front floor foot rest. Refer to Foot Rest Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Console Replacement - Front Floor) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
8. Install the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor (Console Replacement - Rear Floor) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
9. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) in Seats.
