Door Check Link Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
2. Remove the front side door check pin (2) which secures the front side door check (3) to door jamb.
3. Remove the following components from the door:

* The 2 bolts (1)
* The door check (3)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the front side door check (3) to the door through the inner door panel access hole. Secure the check with the 2 bolts (1).

Tighten the front side door check bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the door check (3) to the door jamb. Secure the check with the pin (2).
3. Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
