CIRCUIT DESCRIPTIONThe DIC monitors the DIC internal switch signal circuits in order to perform various functions. The DIC detects a signal activation when the signal circuit is low.
CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The DIC detects a RAP 1 fuse supply voltage.
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The DIC detects that a switch signal circuit is low for greater than 30 seconds.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The DIC ignores the malfunctioning switch circuit.
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
- The DTC becomes history when the fault is no longer present.
- A history DTC clears after 100 malfunction free ignition cycles.
- The DIC receives a clear code command from the scan tool.
