Latch Replacement - Lift Gate

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the latch assembly bolts (2).
2. Remove the latch assembly (4) from the liftgate.
3. Remove the electrical connector.
4. Remove the cable at latch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cable at the latch.
2. Install the electrical connector.
3. Install the latch assembly (4) to the liftgate.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the latch assembly bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
