Timing Belt Tensioner Removal





1. Remove the timing belt tensioner (2).
2. Remove the tensioner plate.
3. Remove the tensioner spring and the spring damper.
4. Inspect the timing belt for wear or cracks. Replace the belt as necessary.





5. Inspect the timing belt tensioner for smooth rotation. Replace the timing belt tensioner as necessary.
6. Remove the timing belt inner cover.
