Shutter Control Valve Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the radiator shutter control valve hoses from the shutter control valve.
2. Place a drain pan under the radiator shutter control valve.
3. Remove the radiator shutter control valve hoses from the engine block.
4. Remove the radiator shutter control valve hoses from the mounting clamps.
5. Remove the radiator shutter control valve hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the radiator shutter control valve hoses to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the radiator shutter control valve hoses to the mounting clamps.

Tighten the control valve hose mounting clamps to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Install the radiator shutter control valve hoses to the engine block.

Tighten the flare nut to 14 Nm (124 lb in).

4. Refill the engine oil to the correct level.
