Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Use tape or erasable marker to mark position of wiper blade on rear window.
2. Remove the cap from the wiper motor (1) spindle.
3. Remove the nut from the wiper motor (1) spindle.
4. Remove the wiper arm.
5. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wiper blade onto the wiper arm.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wiper arm on the wiper motor spindle while aligning the wiper blade with the mark on the rear window.
3. Install the nut onto the wiper motor spindle.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft.).

4. Install the cap to the wiper motor (1) spindle.
5. Remove the mark from the rear window.
6. Operate the rear wiper/washer system to check for proper operation.
