Swing Out Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front quarter window. Refer to Quarter Window Replacement (Quarter Window Replacement (Non Encapsulated)) .




2. Pull the front quarter window weatherstrip away from the pinchweld flange.
3. Remove the front quarter window weatherstrip from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Important: The front quarter window weatherstrip service replacement part is a cut-to-fit part. Trim the weatherstrip in order to fit the window opening and join together with the other weatherstrip pieces.


1. Install the front quarter window weatherstrip to the vehicle.
2. Align the front quarter window weatherstrip joint to the center of the front quarter window latch attachment point.
3. Roll the front quarter window weatherstrip from the joint to the bottom of the window in order to ensure proper seal.
4. Install the front quarter window. Refer to Quarter Window Replacement (Quarter Window Replacement (Non Encapsulated)) .
