Headlamps Circuit Operation - Export
When the Headlamp and I/P Lamp Dimmer Switch is moved to the HEAD position, battery voltage is supplied through circuit 10 to the Headlamp Dimmer Switch. The Headlamp Dimmer Switch supplies voltage to the high beam lamps and the low beam lamps. When the dimmer switch is in the Low position, battery voltage is applied through circuit 12 to the fuse block to power the LH and RH HEAD LP LOW Fuses. The fuses then feed battery voltage through circuits 312 and 712 through the Underhood Electrical Center to the RH and LH Headlamp Low beam filaments. When the Headlamp Dimmer switch is in the High position, battery voltage is applied through circuit 11 to the High Beam Indicator and to the fuse block to power the LH and RH HEAD LP HIGH Fuses. The fuses then feed battery voltage through circuits 311 and 711, through the Underhood Electrical Center to the RH and LH Headlamp High beam filaments.
For the Flash to Pass feature, battery voltage is applied from circuit 2340 through the headlamp dimmer switch to circuit 11 to illuminate the high beam headlamps and indicator.
