Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the IP insulator. Refer to one of the following procedures:

* Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right)
* Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair)

2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Panel Replacement) .
4. Position the tilt steering wheel to the lowest position.




5. Pull on the IP cluster trim plate in order to release the clips that secure the IP cluster trim plate to the instrument panel.
Begin near the headlamp switch and work toward the center of the vehicle IP cluster trim plate.
6. Remove the IP cluster trim plate from the instrument panel.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the IP cluster trim plate to the instrument panel.
2. Align the IP cluster trim plate clips to the slots in the instrument panel.
3. Push the IP cluster trim plate clips into the slots in the instrument panel until fully seated.
4. Reposition the steering column to the original position.
5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the IP insulator. Refer to one of the following procedures:

* Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right)
* Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair)

7. Install the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Panel Replacement) .
