Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement) in Seats.
3. Remove the anchor plate bezels. Refer to Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement (Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement) .
4. Remove the convenience net retainers from the floor. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement (Upper) (Cargo Net Replacement (Upper))Cargo Net Replacement (Lower) (Cargo Net Replacement (Lower)) in Body Rear End.
5. Remove the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
6. Remove the sliding door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
7. Remove the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
8. Remove the center floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) .
9. Remove the left trim panel and remove the right trim panel from the side center pillar. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement (Trim Replacement - Third Pillar) .
10. Remove the lower I/P cowl panels. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement (Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement) .
11. Remove the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement) .




12. Remove the carpet (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement) .
3. Install the lower I/P cowl panels. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement (Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement) .
4. Install the left trim panel and install the right trim panel to the side center pillar. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement (Trim Replacement - Third Pillar) .
5. Install the center floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) .
6. Install the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the sliding door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
8. Install the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
9. Install the convenience net retainers to the floor, if equipped. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement (Upper) (Cargo Net Replacement (Upper))Cargo Net Replacement (Lower) (Cargo Net Replacement (Lower)) in Body Rear End.
10. Install the anchor plate bezels. Refer to Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement (Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement) .
11. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement) in Seats.
12. Install the front seats. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) in Seats.
