Differential Pilot Bearing Replacement

- J 33842 Pilot Bearing Installer
- J34011 Differential Pilot Bearing Remover

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the axle shaft (output shaft) and the tube assembly. Refer to Output Shaft, Bearing, and Tube Replacement.
2. Remove the shim (20).
3. Remove differential pilot bearing (21) using the J 34011.

Installation Procedure





1. Lubricate the bearing with axle lubricant. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
Install the shim (20).
2. Install the differential pilot bearing (21) using the J 33842.
3. Instal the shim (20).
4. Install the axle shaft (output shaft) and the tube assembly. Refer to Output Shaft, Bearing, and Tube Replacement.
