Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Extended Cab)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.




2. Remove the headrests (2).




3. Release the seat back trim cover J-clip. Pull back the trim cover in order to expose the seat back side bolts (1).
4. Remove the seat back side bolts.
5. Remove the seat back frame from the seat.




6. Pull up the trim cover in order to expose the headrest retainers (1).
7. Remove the headrest retainers.
8. Remove the trim cover (4).
9. Separate the foam pad (3) from the seat back frame.
10. Remove the seat back frame from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Attach the foam pad (3) to the seat back frame.
2. Pull the trim cover (4) over the seat.
3. Install the headrest retainers (1).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the side bolts (1).

Tighten the side bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

5. Connect the seat back trim cover J-clip.




6. Install the headrests (1).
7. Install the rear seat in the vehicle.
