Valve Rocker Arm Cover Removal (Right)




1. Remove the ignition coil wiring harness from the ignition coils.




2. Remove the ignition coil wiring harness bracket bolt and ignition coil wiring harness bracket from the valve rocker arm cover, if required.




3. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor harness from the ECT sensor harness bracket and remove the ECT sensor from the cylinder head.




4. Remove the valve rocker arm cover bolts.




5. Remove the valve rocker arm cover.

Important: The valve rocker arm cover gasket may be reused if not removed from valve rocker arm cover.


6. Remove the valve rocker arm cover gasket if it is cut or damaged.




7. Remove the ECT sensor harness bracket and ECT sensor harness bracket bolt from the valve rocker arm cover, if required.




8. Remove the ignition coils bolts and ignition coils from the valve rocker arm cover, if required.
