Range Selector Replacement (Console)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the retainer securing the handle on the shaft.




2. Remove the eight screws securing the bezel and the range control bracket to the console.




3. Remove the two nuts and the cable clamp securing the shift cable to the range selector.
4. Remove the cotter pin securing the shift cable to the range selector.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cotter pin in order to secure the shift cable to the range selector.
2. Install the cable clamp and the two nuts in order to secure the shift cable to the range selector.




3. Install the bezel and the range control bracket to the vehicle.
4. Install the eight screws in order to secure the bezel and the range control bracket to the console.




5. Install the retainer securing the handle to the shaft.
