Power Door Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (C 6/7/8) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (C 6/7/8) in Engine Electrical.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement Door Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement Door Water Deflector Replacement.
4. Remove the inner mounting panel. Refer to Door Mounting Panel Replacement - Inner Door Mounting Panel Replacement - Inner.




5. Remove the lock actuator mounting rivets by drilling.
6. Remove the remote lock rod (2) from the actuator arm.
7. Remove the wiring harness from the lock actuator.
8. Remove the actuator from the module panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the inner mounting panel to actuator rivets.
2. Install the wiring harness to the actuator.
3. Install the remote lock rod (2) to the actuator arm.
4. Install the module panel to the door.
5. Install the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement Door Water Deflector Replacement.
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement Door Trim Panel Replacement
7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (C 6/7/8) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (C 6/7/8) in Engine Electrical.
