Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the valve rocker arm cover.

2. Remove the valve rocker arm nut and the valve rocker arm with the valve rocker arm ball. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Removal under Engine Unit Repair.
3. Remove the valve pushrods.
4. Clean and inspect the valve rocker arms and the valve pushrods. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rods Clean and Inspect under Engine Unit Repair.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the valve pushrod.
2. Install the valve rocker arm nut and the valve rocker arm with the valve rocker arm ball. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Installation under Engine Unit Repair.
3. Install the valve rocker arm cover.
