Window Regulator Motor - Front

POWER WINDOW MOTOR REPLACEMENT

Remove or Disconnect

1. Window Regulator.

Caution: Sector gear must be locked into position. Regulator lift arm is under tension from the counterbalance spring and could cause personal injury is the sector gear is not locked into position.












2. Power window motor from the regulator.
A. Drill a hole through the window regulator and sector gear.
B. Install a nut and bolt through the hole to lock the sector gear into position.
C. Drill out the rivets that secure the power window motor to the window regulator.
3. Power window motor from the window regulator.

Install or Connect

1. Power window motor to the window regulator.






2. Rivets to secure the power window motor to the window regulator.

Important

- Remove the nut and bolt used to lock the sector gear in position.
