Oil Pump Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove the oil pan. Service and Repair





2. Remove the bolt that attaches the oil pump to the rear crankshaft bearing cap.





3. Remove the oil pump driveshaft and the retainer.

INSTALLATION
1. Assemble the oil pump, driveshaft, and retainer.
2. Install the oil pump.
3. Align the slot in the end of the driveshaft with the drive tang on the oil pump shaft.
4. Install the bottom bolt attaching the oil pump to the rear crankshaft bearing cap.
5. Install the oil pump bolt.
^ Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the oil pan.
