Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement

I/P Accessory Trim Plate:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Knee bolster. Knee Bolster Replacement
2. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. Service and Repair
3. Nuts that retain the steering column to the vehicle. Lower the steering column for clearance.
4. Screws that retain the instrument panel accessory trim plate to the instrument panel.
5. Instrument panel accessory trim plate.
6. Electrical connectors as necessary.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Electrical connectors as necessary.
2. Instrument panel accessory trim plate.
3. Screws that retain the instrument panel accessory trim plate to the instrument panel.

TIGHTEN
^ Screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

4. Raise the steering column into place and attach with mounting nuts.

TIGHTEN
^ Nuts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).

5. Enable the SIR system. Service and Repair
6. Knee bolster. Knee Bolster Replacement
