Disassemble
UPPER1. Remove the throttle body nuts.
2. Remove the throttle body.
3. Remove the throttle body gasket and studs.
NOTE: Carefully note the position of the EGR valve before removal. Do not rotate the EGR valve 180-degrees.
4. Remove the EGR valve attaching bolts.
CAUTION: The Linear EGR valve is an electrical component. DO NOT soak in any liquid cleaner or solvent because damage may result.
5. Remove the linear EGR valve.
6. Remove the EGR gasket.
LOWER
1. Remove the MAP sensor nut, retainer and the MAP sensor.
2. Remove the fuel rail bolts and stud.
3. Remove the fuel rail.
4. Remove the coolant housing bolts, coolant housing, and the thermostat from the lower intake manifold.
5. Remove the coolant temperature sensor from the lower intake manifold.
