Disassemble

^ Tools Required
- J 8062 Valve Spring Compressor, Or equivalent

1. Remove the spark plugs.
2. Remove the coolant temperature gauge sensor from the right cylinder head.





3. Disassemble the valve keys as follows:
(1) Compress the valve springs with the valve spring copressor.
(2) Remove the valve keys.
(3) Remove the valve spring compressor.
4. Remove the caps, the springs, and the rotators.
5. Remove the valve stem oil seals.





6. Remove the valves. Place the valves in a rack to ensure that the valves are returned to the original locations at assembly.
7. Remove the remaining valves and the components.
