Installation

1. Install the engine into the vehicle.





2. Install the front mounts to the engine and frame.





3. Install the engine mounting through bolts and nuts.
4. Install the transmission bolts to the engine.
5. Remove the lifting device. Raise the vehicle.
6. Install the flywheel cover.
7. Install the starter.
8. Install the engine oil cooler lines to the retainers.
9. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the retainers.
10. Install the exhaust pipes to the manifolds.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Install the intake manifold.
13. Install the fuel lines from the rear bracket to the intake manifold.
14. Install the generator and bracket.
15. Install the air conditioning compressor and bracket.
16. Install the accelerator and cruise control cables (if equipped).
17. Install the heater hoses to the engine.
18. Install the transmission shift cable connector.
19. Install the transmission oil level indicator tube.
20. Install the engine wiring harness and connectors.
21. Install the engine cooling fan.
22. Install the radiator support assembly complete. The radiator support assembly will include:
- Two ground straps
- Headlight assemblies
- Radiator
- A/C condenser, if equipped.
23. Install the grille assembly.
24. Install the front bumper.
25. Install the air cleaner assembly and intake duct.
26. Install the coolant reservoir.
27. Install tine engine cover.





28. Connect the battery negative cable assembly to the battery negative terminal.
- Tighten the bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
29. Fill the engine with the proper quantity and grade of engine oil.
30. Fill the cooling system with the proper quantity and type of coolant.
