Connecting Rod: Testing and Inspection

CONNECTING ROD SIDE CLEARANCE MEASURING PROCEDURE
1. Insert a feeler gauge between the connecting rod caps and measure the connecting rod side clearance.
Side clearance 0.16-0.35 mm (0.006-0.014 inch)
2. Connecting rod clearances may also be measured with a dial indicator set.
