Fuel/Water Separator: Service and Repair

Fuel Manager/Filter:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Open air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.
2. Mounting bolts that connect the fuel manager/filter to the intake manifold and move the fuel manager/filter to a position that enables access to the sensor mounting screws.
3. Sensor wiring harness.
4. Sensor mounting screws.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New water sensor and a new water sensor seal.

Tighten
- Screws to 2 Nm (13 lb. in.).

2. Fuel manager/filter to intake manifold with mounting bolts.

Tighten
- Bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

3. Bleed air from fuel manager/filter refer to Bleeding Air from Fuel Supply System. Service and Repair
